SMS terms and conditions

What our messaging programmes send, how often, what they cost and how to stop them.

Where the opt-in happens

There are two separate programmes and they do not mix.

Partner text updates. Advertisers and media partners can opt in on our own text updates page. That form carries one unticked box, it collects a number only from the person typing it, and the messages are about that partner’s own campaigns and account. It is not marketing and nothing is sold on it.

Consumer programmes. Consent is given on the consumer forms we run for advertisers, never on this website. On each of those the phone field sits beside an unticked box that names the advertiser and states that the messages will be automated and recurring. The wording shown, the page, the timestamp and the IP address are recorded with the enquiry and travel with it to the advertiser.

Our consent standards describe how those records are kept and what we refuse to run.

What the programmes send

Transactional messages confirm an enquiry you submitted or connect you to the advertiser you asked for. Marketing messages follow up on the offer you responded to, from the advertiser named on the form you completed.

No programme of ours sends messages about an advertiser you did not answer.

Consent is never a condition

Agreeing to messages is not a condition of submitting a form, of any purchase, or of receiving any service. A form that makes it one is not one of ours, and we want to hear about it.

By ticking the box you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages at the number you provided, and you confirm the number is yours.

Message frequency

Frequency varies with the programme and with your own activity. You should expect no more than 8 messages per month from any single programme.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, according to your plan with your mobile carrier. Centennial does not charge you for messages.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive a single confirmation and then no further messages from that programme. Reply START to resume. To stop every programme at once, write to us and say so.

How to get help

Reply HELP to any message, or use the phone number and email address on the contact page.

Carriers and delivery

Supported on major US carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and text messages are not a way to reach us urgently.

Privacy

We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing. The number reaches the advertiser named on the form you completed and the provider that delivers the message, and no one else.

Your record

You can ask us for the consent record held against your number — the wording, the page, the date and the advertiser — and you can ask us to delete it. Use the contact page.

Get started

Tell us the target.
We will build the program around it.

Tell us the audience, the channels you are considering, where the leads need to land, or the inventory you have to place. We will say whether it is a fit and what the first steps would be.
